“I am rooted, but I flow.” – Virgina Woolf

We may find ourselves fixed to a place at some point in our lives, but we should not be afraid to expand and to move forward.

And we, the founders of Uncensored, bestow this slogan with a new meaning and a new hope of providing the youth of this country with an opportunity to enable the next generation to awake to a new dawn enriched with new beginnings of new legacies.

Uncensored, as the name suggests, is a platform for the youth to express their unfiltered views without obstructions. They say that the pen is a mightier weapon than the sword. We write to express the thoughts that we cannot say out loud; we write to mobilize people towards a cause; we write to break boundaries.

These boundaries do not keep other people out, but they fence us in. We need to realize that we are stuck in a paradox: we can either waste our lives drawing lines or we can live our lives crossing them. But there are always those lines that are too dangerous to cross. What Uncensored hopes to encourage is the removal of hesitation when it comes to the making of an unconventional choice, because once we have crossed the bar we find that the world is wonderful.

So we encourage you to be a part of this initiative and find in yourself the radiance that could ignite an umpteen number of souls and minds.
